Samsung SDS has reached a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% equity of Woojung Air Consolidation, a professional air freight consolidator in South Korea. The transaction is scheduled to close before the end of 2026.
Founded in 1999, Woojung Air specializes in cargo consolidation and air space contracting. It operates the digital logistics platform iNomad and runs a logistics hub near Incheon Airport for cargo pre-inspection and loading preparation.
Samsung SDS owns Cello Square, a global logistics platform offering sea freight, air freight, warehousing and inland haulage. After the acquisition, the company will connect Cello Square and iNomad to streamline air freight workflows and automate cargo data management.
Industry analysts believe this acquisition will lift the handling capacity of Incheon Airport as a regional logistics hub. It helps improve utilization of air cargo capacity and offers more stable air freight options for importers and exporters across Asia.
